Thank you. After further research, it sounds like some people expect the USDC copies to get invalidated. That's enough for me to not chance it. No reason to overthink it.

Also, how are people determining a good ratio to trade pre bridge? The more I read, the more I'm leaning waiting post bridge to enter. But this is all me going from knowing nothing on Tuesday to trying to make the best decision possible in the coming weeks.

Also, I'm going to go broke waiting for this transfer from Coinbase the way ETH is going this week.

I wish I knew the best short term play, but the game theory is so massive that the possibilities are limitless. Most people consider HEX the safest play to enter prior to the bridge because the tokenomics are so damn good that the token appreciates over time just by functioning the way it's designed to function and at worst you still have double the tokens. I personally am strongly considering taking a chance on USDC. Right now I'm in HEX because it will continue to pump leading up to launch.

so any erc20 coins held on metamask will be copied onto pulse and airdropped into metamask. then all thats left to do is add the pulse network to metamask and wait for airdrop?

That's correct!

simple enough.

now why was hex recommended by some folks? is it just some folks speculation that hex will benefit most from the copy/airdrop event or is there some other feature/event specifically with hex?

with eth being copied into their version of gas, its copy will inherently be diluted correct? so would it be more worthwhile to hold non-ETH erc20 coins?

If I am correct in my assumption that the value of the airdropped pulse version of coins will start at $0? I imagine the copied coins will have different valuations than the original erc20 chain versions.

Yes, and specifically because a lot of liquidity will be in that pair and most likely prices will reach parity quick. Not financial advice.

Yes. Vitalik will have about $30 worth of pulse. Don't hold eth expecting to get value.

Yes sir! The automated market maker bot will harvest all the pairs by buying them up and will correct the ratios. It's all speculation what will have the most value, but mostly everything should be worth something due to the bonded liquidity pairs.

Considered 2 different assets.

If you have an erc20 that you really love, bridge it over and pair with the prc20 free copy and earn incentive token. Win win. You only have to buy one side of the pair.

assuming you already have a coinbase or some other account that allows you to buy crypto.

theres plenty of walktrhoughs on youtube. one good one can be found by searching for 'Son of a Tech how to use metamask'. you can copy what he is doing step by step.

just had a thought. about capturing the most benefit from the fork/snapshot.

wouldnt coins benefitting most from pulse network be the coins that are transferred/swapped/spent in the highest frequency? considering the pulse benefit is lower gas fees?
any insight as to which coins most frequently incur most gas fees?

I’d love to hear from the one or two investors that are hawking their sac investment and not the kool aid stake and chill crowd

We’re damn near launching at defcon 1. Surely a few of you viewed your investment beyond a 2 yr year hope for the best mindset

My current mindset is praying my PlsX can pop a quick 8-10x and my Pls can provide attractive returns in an 18mo-2yr window

id started hobby mining and been looking for something to speculate the proceeds into so this seems like a decent enough opportunity.
my thoughts regarding this is identifying a minable daggarhashimoto algo coin. I expect these will see increased buying pressure when miners scatter/shutdown as the ETH difficulty builds and mining profitability decreases while ETH merges to PoS.

I kind of expect pulse fork/eth merge to occur when we are closer to or entering the next bullrun. bear market might make pulse fork and eth merge projects be perceived as more like a failure if value and interest wanes in a bear market. so there is some incentive for the powers that be to artificially delay rollout.

Richard Heart has said he would like pulse to launch in a bear market. I kind of think he's been intentionally waiting for the bear to kick in for launch. He did call the top for BTC so he knew it was coming.

He could be saying that to keep people interested and involved

Not saying that's the case but it's a possibility. Kind of like hostile takeovers where they lie about no one getting laid off so the company doesn't crumble during the transition.

I will sound like and idiot but I sacrificed at the beginning of the year or send of last year, if I did that right when pulse launches do I get an airdrop automatically in my trust wallet do I just have to activate pulsechain once it launches in my wallet to see said airdrop ?

Yes, you will have to add Pulse Main Network to your wallet and all over sacrifice tokens and copies will be there. You can also check your sacrifice totals by entering the address you sacrificed from. LINK /

He just said on a live stream launch "likely 14 days".

And his "launch in a bear market" comment was made well over a year ago.
