I read an iot post that there are max nbis shares shorted right now. so either we’re set up for a massive squeeze or the opposite. @ITdawg or Lsucam7
It’s not max, but it’s the most ever out at one time, granted, we just diluted 20% so it’s not the most % shorted. However, it’s on a 1.02 days to clear based on avg volume. So this certain could have a short squeeze and send this sucker up in a hurry.

Is the only real safety net owning puts at all times?
For the time being, I am day trading this sucker with almost the same philosophy as before, pop in the morning, peaks and valleys, rise towards the end of the day near morning high. So I am trading weekly’s and 2/20/26 options. The weekly’s are where I am buying calls and puts depending on the swing. I typically won’t hold for more than an hour. If it’s stagnant, I sell and wait for a movement one way or the other and it typically continues that direction for some good gains

So let's talk over all strategy on stop losses and methods to protect at the same time
Let's say you purchase NBIS at 95. You sell a call at $115 strike. Set a stop loss on NBIS at what % ?
I would probably never employ this strategy. If the price went down that much, I would buy my premium back for a nice profit and then sell more calls.
I’m not doing any of that with my day trading though. Only buying calls and puts and then selling them back

This battle at $95 is going to be interesting. 2 hours and 20 mins left in the trading day with low volume. I am eager to jump in as soon as it swings good in one direction. They trying to hold it under $95, if they can't it will likely shoot up to $98ish. If they are successful, watch for a big dip and then you will see them cover and drive it back to this level
And there is the dip. Going to buy some 0DTE $96 for .10 if I can get them

I never really considered day trading this one. After reading one of your earlier post I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you, NBIS is a money printing machine. Thanks for sharing that.
