Explain this to me like I am a 5th grader.
It’s just a valuation estimate based on the core AI business and its other stakes and subsidiaries.

It essentially says that a fair price right now is lower $40s or around 10 bn market cap.

“Sum of the parts” valuation.

There are other valuation methods, too.

But I think the Sotp numbers generated can certainly provide some insight to us as to why this stock meets a roadblock in the low 40s, everytime

I'm not an expert, but did you include equity as part of the NBIS valuation?

Nebius stock deep research:

parameters i used:

quote:

To make this deep research most useful, could you please clarify a few things:

What type of valuation are you most interested in (e.g., DCF model, relative valuation via P/E or EV/EBITDA, sum-of-the-parts)?

Are there specific aspects you'd like me to focus on (e.g., AI revenue impact, VMware integration, competitive position, risks)?

Do you want the research to include analyst forecasts and price targets?

Is there a particular time horizon you're evaluating (e.g., short-term swing trade vs. 3–5 year investment)?

Let me know, and I’ll begin the research right away.

quote:

You said:
1. sum of the part. 2. nothing specific, 3. yes, 4. long term buy and hold, 5+ year investment

eta: the "VMware integration" snippet was left over from my deep research on avgo.

By research, you mean ask Grok or ask ChatGPT?

Could be. But we're just one contract away from breaking through.

Demoralizing
its meant to be that way

I'd view this as an accumulation move and just wait for the volume. Once NBIS's NJ site is operational, they are going to sign a mega lease deal and this stock will break through.

Bought back a $40 covered call and essentially rolled it up and out to $50 with a 7/18 expiry.
Rolled the other two $40s to $60 with 8/15 expiry.

Ended up making a little money on those. Can't complain.
