701 with Dr. James?

Just completed MADM 751. Great course with a great professor (Meeks)
I have 2 young kids and a full time job, so this is already going to be a challenging endeavor for me time-wise. Any advice on what classes should be taken solo and which ones I might be able to safely double up on? For a little extra info, I plan on taking the 2 pre-req courses, BADM 700 and 701, despite the fact I took accounting, econ, finance, and statistics during my undergrad. I don't have much confidence in my knowledge of courses I took nearly 10 years ago. Can BADM 700 and 701 be taken simultaneously?

Solo: ISDS
MADM 720
MKT 701
I paired ECON 705 with ACCT 701 and that was a good pairing.
MKT 701 is just time consuming.

I think so

They aren't offered at the same time. You can take one in each semester half.

What about back to back? I have that set up in the fall.

Yes, just be prepared to read and type, a lot.

Paul Allen,
When you said Solo: ISDS, did you mean ISDS-702 or 705?
Is Dr. Sanjay Menon requiring online proctoring for MADM-701? How does that work?
I am taking MADM-701 with Menon and MADM 715 with Dr. Felice Williams.

Unnecessary IMO. Anything you're asked to do is basically introduced. There's people in the program you'll notice have zero business acumen. You're fine. Save the tuition and time.

I am currently registered for BADM700 and another course for summer ap2 (starting 7/4/16). When login into Moodle I do not see BADM700 listed but only the other course. If I do a search for BADM700 (within Moodle) it only shows sections offered in past terms. I could search for other summer ap2 courses and they are found. It almost seem like the "Moodle template" for BADM700 has not bee created yet. Did you ever see that happening? Do you think the course will appear later since there is still plenty of time before 7/4/16?
Also, can a course be taken let us say twice for the purposes of improving one's GPA? Would LSUS allow it and consider only the better grade (ignoring the worse one) for GPA calculation?

I typically take two courses per term and they have appeared in Moodle at different times. I think that the professors are the ones who post them, not the system. In my case, only one of the two courses I enrolled for AP2 are in moodle. The two for AP1 are there plus the two I took in the previous term. The other one is not there yet. As for your GPA question, I would ask Dr. Bigler since I really don't know. Never had to retake a course.

I heard that Dr. Bigler will leave LSUS by the end of June? I wonder who will replace him. He seems to be a very good professor.

I'm hoping to start the LSUS MBA program in the summer 2 session, can anyone recommend course paring considering I will have to take BADM 700 and BADM 701. Thanks for any assistance and advice you may have.

I took BADM 701 with MADM 720 and was manageable. Do everything everyone here has said about MADM 720 and you should be able to get two A's to start. BADM 701 is pretty easy but you have to do a lot of homework/problems. MADM 720, Dr. Mabry has assistants doing the grading and they are all over the place. You need to make substantive forum posts with citations, etc. or they will duck a lot of points. The 3 exams are 15-20 questions each and are timed to about one question per minute so you need to study. You will learn though. I hope that helps.

The exams in 720 weren't the easiest IMO.

Big loss. He's fantastic.

Whoa...who said that? He's the dean of the program.
