Looking for some investment advice

Trying to invest in a few stocks or companies that will allow my money to grow without much moving.

You probably want an index fund with a low expense ratio rather than one or two stocks.

What the guy above said, odds are you will not nearly as well if you try to “pick” a few stocks.
Vanguard total stock market ETF or similar funds will work best for you.
