Looking for a CPA in Lafayette

I have previously used tax software to help with taxes. But this year, I have rental income, LLC income and a W2.
Is there anything I should be looking for in a CPA? What questions should I be asking?

Ask if they do have rental income, LLC income and a W2? I kid. Have you been making estimated tax payments? Do you need to?
ETA: ask how much it will cost. it’s not impolite. It’s business.

I still have to compile information on my income, investments (including rentals). But they plug all the information into the proper forms.
I typically pay about $1000. And I include that in my writeoffs.
I don't look to them to provide investment/savings advice.

I'd recommend a medium to large accounting firm. I've seen several sole proprietors go out of business and leave folks in the lurch.
I've been with a NOLA-based firm that has five offices metro-wide for a couple of decades now and been very satisfied.
Could I have gotten cheaper services elsewhere? Probably but I sleep well with where I am.

I use Wright Moore (WMDDH) and have been very happy. They've helped me with LLC taxed as S-corp, employing spouse, payroll, solo 401k, etc.
