756, your rationale cracks me up. If they are sitting down with someone they can't trust or feel like something is not right. Then they need to get up and walk away and see someone else. Btw, it goes both ways. There are many people that have come to me or I have met that I walk away from and don't business with.

FYI. Your group term life insurance offered by the insurer your company recommends is the most expensive way to own coverage, unless you have a serious health concern. Figure out your "cost per thousand" amount and compare to a like amont of benefit from an individual policy. Remember when you retire or quit your jobs, your coverage is severely reduced and/or eliminated, usually when you woukd want it to pay...when you're very old! HA

understood. The policy through work is company paid 3x annual salary. I know i need a better plan for myself as well.

thx. Not knowing your age, we advise anywhere from 15-25xs income. You can calculate your age and how far you are from distributing retirement assets for this figure. Or, if you have sizeable assets, 1-1.5xs asset size. Remember, if done properly, have assets help pay the premium.
