LA Legislature considering crypto payments.

"Essentially we're going to look at things like the state taking payments in cryptocurrency or digital payments," Wright said to the committee.
Wright has filed another bill related to cryptocurrency, House Bill 170, which would allow political candidates in Louisiana to take cryptocurrency for campaign contributions.

I have no problem with a candidate taking a crypto currency as a donation (or chickens or 1988 air Jordan’s…) and surprised to hear it needs a law to make it legal.

its not just donations... LA wants to do what colorado did to accept crypto for payment of taxes and fees.

so with state governments looking to accept crypto as payment. local governments are setting up mining operations. looks like crypto will become accepted currency in a few short years as more states adopt it.
