Hedge Fund Accounting

Anybody have any experience in this field? I'm curious about pay, work environment, career progression, etc as opposed to a typical corporate accounting role. I passed on an opportunity several months ago, but something else has just come up. TIA

In NYC being a fund accountant can be a pretty sweet gig. Decent pay for a super easy job.
