Rarely would I seek this kind of advice. I bought GE two years ago at $30/share, primarily for the dividend. (In consultation with and upon the advice of my Morgan Stanley broker.). It is now worth $13/share and the dividend was cut in half last November. Anybody else still hold this? Should I just sell this, get a bottle of tequila and walk away or what?

Personally, I’ve been buying $100 per month for the last few months through their DRIP.

1) I think they will recover making the current price a steal

2) the current dividend isn’t that bad. It’s the optics of where it is today vs where it was that causes so many people heartburn

My $0.02
