With ford being so cheap is it worth it to buy in now and wait a while for it to rebound?

Ford has been under $10 for the past year and has slowly been trending now for years. I wouldn't be expecting a big rebound once COVID is over.

They just came under some sort of court order or settlement to buy back a bunch of the cars they sold over the last handful of years. Read about that a few weeks ago but don’t remember the details now.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy Ford simply because of their future product line. Canceling all small cars and sedans and moving to all trucks and SUVs isn’t a diverse product line and very dependent on one segment.
We used to have two Fords, which were bought trading in Fords. Now we’re down to one. Soon it will be zero. Their product line is unappealing unless you like 1. Cheaply made small SUVs (the new escape is awful) or 2. Expensive trucks or SUVs. A $45,000 explorer just isn’t attractive, to me anyway.
It’ll take at least four or five years to correct the product cycle and that’s only if they decide to change course.
Long story short, not great financials and an unappealing product lineup. Not a good mix.

I think it’s time to buy ford. They’re late to the EV game, but getting there. They’ve been down so long now it’s hard to think things will get much worse. Once social distancing is over, it’ll be back to at least $8

Ford just doesn’t sell a good product, it’s overpriced and unreliable. Just like goodyear tires, overpriced and unreliable.
