Yeah, my 401k does have a Roth as well, which had me leaning in that direction along with the tax benefits down the road.

Everyone's situation is different. I only utilize a Roth because I want to the option of early retirement but I still put at least 50% in traditional accounts.

Assuming I was going to retire at the standard retirement age, I would be doing all traditional. Every dollar I put in a roth would be taxed at 22% right now. My effective tax rate in retirement will almost certainly be much lower than that because of standard deduction (tax free) and lower marginal tax rates.

When you get into the detailed numbers, the traditional seems to be the best guarantee for me if I wasn't retiring early.
