I’ve mentioned before that I find it hilarious that both republicans and libertarians spent the last couple of decades saying that the government inflation numbers were bullshite low, then six months ago, republicans all decided overnight that the numbers were bullshite high

I think they've been bullshite for 20 years. Hey, this item you regularly buy has doubled in 4 years, and it's not the only example, inflation is 2.8% dude

It's been clear that this BoG puts far more weight on inflation data than employment data. They wouldn't have cut rates even if the BLS reports were right the first time.
They look for 2% CPI....we've been running 20-50% above.
