If its like what happened with other Chinese electronics bans lately, there will be little teeth here.

Current inventory wont be banned, new products just need to file to get excluded. Large companies are generally allowed to continue to sell, and anything in shortage will be allowed.

I will say short term this is a negative for the large hyperscalers and neocloud businesses, which will be impacted with much higher costs. Even if they don't use Chinese products, removing them from the market will drive up prices for what is left. Things like optical transceivers are used heavily in data centers, and Chinese players dominate that market.
