I'm considering putting in for a job that is 28/28 rotation in Asia. I work for one of the supermajors.
Wondering if anyone has experience with this?
My main considerations are family (2 kids 9 years old) and prospects with the company when the gig ends in 3-4 years.

Make sure to get all the salary and benefits in writing (like business class travel to and from location) , make sure to get your schedule in writing ("hey, we need you to stay an extra 2 weeks"), make sure your family is ok with it. If there is a Problem on the homefront, typically there's no going home until your rotation is over unless it is a dire emergency .

My buddy did 28/28. Turned out to be more like 31/25 with all the travel. He made a stupid amount of money though.
