off topic but seemed like a good place to post, got word that my second PPP was forgiven yesterday
I don't think Wells has even opened apps for second PPP forgiveness. Haven't heard on first forgiveness app.

Anybody seeing any movement?

Nothing here. The person I talked to seemed to think they were not focusing on these loans until after the push on getting the money to low income areas was finished.

quote:I did get an email yesterday, requesting another resolution for the current loan AND another request for ANOTHER 4506-T on the portal. When I spoke to the loan officer, I asked about that, considering I have now sent them four. She didn't say that she had them, but did say she wouldn't have my file to work on if they didn't have them. So I guess that's good news. Moving like a snail, but it does appear to be moving.

I had a similar issue with the 4506 requests. 5th time was a charm, maybe? I haven’t heard anything in weeks. When calling, it is like talking to a robot with no programming… they have no real information, it’s processing, etc. No more info than I could garner on my own. I know they have priorities and a lot to deal with weeding out potential fraud, but very poorly run.

Yep, they are making a mess even messier. The frauds will get found out eventually. They need to remember the intended purpose of these loans and get them done.

Mine has been stuck in processing for at least a couple months. I'm glad we aren't depending on it, but I can see why people do crazy things when the government takes what they worked their entire life for and seeing the families that it can affect.

You are about 3 months into this process, aren't you?

Yep. Applied on April 6.
I supplied the drivers license, COI, etc in May.

Are the new docs you just signed, showing up on your portal page?

Yep. I’ve completed everything that is needed prior to funding.
ETA: it says my loan modification has been approved and all steps are showing as completed.

Now, here's some good news for you. I asked when I would be funded. She said she didn't know, but guess it would be with 7-10 days!

Great news. Here’s to finally funding! You’ll get an email when it’s time to sign the loan documents.
