I don't think anyone has been funded, we are in the same boat, 3 weeks of amount confirmed and being confirmed.

I called the SBA today. Their email servers are overwhelmed and not all files sent to them are being received and uploaded. I just resent my business 4506-T and I was told to call back in a few days to make sure it was received and uploaded. At that point my loan should be processed.

I called them too. It took 3 calls to get a person on the phone. Kept getting disconnected.

The agent said mine is still in processing, and it may take several weeks. I replied that I had applied on April 6 and that it had already been several weeks. She had no answer, only said that I would be notified via email. I did ask it they had funded anyone yet, and she said they have.

I keep getting same generic email saying unable to process application because improper 4506 and last tax return.... I turned both in on the first day application email was originally received. Try calling to talk to someone to find out what the deal is... she said they couldn’t get into the applications to see??? Sheesh

Did you submit thru the portal, or just email it to them? I ask because I just recently was made aware of the portal. The emails I received, asked that I reply directly to their emails and no mention at all, of the portal.

Nope, same here. Just by email.
I don’t have anything showing when I log into SBA site. Just showing funded from EIDL 1.

Try going here: SBA Covid Portal

As long as you have an account, you should be able to log in to SBA and find your loan information and see a page that looks like this. While the loan amount reflects the new amount we requested on this page, the documents that are available at the bottom are still from the first loan request. I'm assuming that will get updated with the new docs we signed once the loan is processed.

I pointed that out to the person from the SBA that I talked to yesterday. The emails gave no instruction, whatsoever, concerning logging into the portal. Just to reply to their emails. She said that I had just signed the 4506 last week, and I had to correct her and say that I had done it weeks before that, and I did it again once I found it not done on the portal. She looked again and saw where they had received the 4506 from email and the transcripts had already been requested from the IRS.

She did confirm that some had already been funded. First confirmation of that, that I have heard.

Oh God. If they are actually requesting transcripts from the IRS this system is fricked. The IRS has a huge backlog already because of the December tax law changes that they didn't have time to properly implement. This has created an avalanche of returns that require manual review. Jesus, what a bureaucracy.

What did you think the 4506-T was for? Mine was already filled out by the SBA. They wanted 2019, 18, and 17. My transcripts were confirmed requested two weeks ago. I have no idea how long it takes the IRS to fulfill the request. I imagine, just like everything else they do, this may take a while. That being said, what's the point of an economic relief loan, if the process takes so long that a lot of businesses may be belly-up before said relief is acquired?

I know what it is for. Many times when a 4506-T is requested it is kept in the file for auditing purposes.

Which was my point in the previous post.

ETA: It's interesting that they're doing all this due diligence the second time around when it was non-existent in the first round.

I thought it was weird too. Especially after initially asking for my 2019 return, then turning around weeks later and asking for the 4506.

Hell, I even in the targeted zone, got less than $10K on the first advance, and I still haven't received the email about that. It's a cluster.

I finally received the email today. It said our file is with a loan officer for the loan modification and it may be several weeks before we get further information. At least I now know that there is movement.

I called today and talked with them. They told me that they have everything needed from me (and have for over 3 weeks) but the loan officer still has not requested my tax information. Once they request the tax information, it should be another 2-3 weeks.

She said the only way to know if they have requested the tax information from the IRS is to call the SBA and ask.

No way these are getting processed in the order received, we literally responded to the initial email within minutes, and once we got the opportunity to request an amount and sign docs, that was done within the hour.

the picture in the post I'm responding to is exactly what I've seen for a very long time.

Anyone getting some traction? I see VA's post about getting an email saying it's in process. VA - did you file your 2020 taxes? I filed for full extension and have not submitted, wondering if this is what is holding it up.

You need to call and ask if the loan officer has requested your tax records from the IRS. I was told it will be 2-3 weeks after that for my loan to get approved. My loan officer hasn't even requested the tax records yet, and we have been waiting almost a month now since we submitted everything.

I called today. Got put on hold and the message said I was caller #130 in line. My wait time was estimated at 5 minutes. I placed a call to my district office last week. Forced to leave a message for a callback. Still hasn't happened.

On a side note, I got an email on the Targeted Advance, 10 minutes after applying. It said I did not qualify due to an arrest and conviction for felony rioting! I have to email and request a "reevaluation". This crap is a joke.
