It's 10 year annualized total return is close 13%. It's actively managed so adding a significant position in Boeing in last Q of 2019 did it no favors. Skimming, looks like they only added about 5 new companies in 2020, most are long term holdings. You could do worse, and at this point there could be more upside potential in some of the lagging companies in the portfolio. Vanguard Primecap f'd up royally this year too holding positions that got hammered, and it's historical returns had been very strong to that point. You can likely exchange your fund in-part or wholly into a different fund with American funds if that is what you want, but what you have is pretty diversified and has some international. The expense ratio is kind of high compared to index funds or ETFs, and if you don't get managerial out-performance you will underperform S&P 500, total market, etc. Wouldn't change just to change. Other providers likely have lower cost options, and you could transfer your account directly institution to institution and sell/buy in the new Roth account if desired. Might be better in a target date fund if you are a novice.
