where is the best place to request them? i don't need monitoring service, just need to check them out for discrepancies.

I would sign up up with a company charging $5-$10 a year and get the report sent to you every quarter. Best to keep up with it multiple times a year.

Use MYFICO.com.. I have been using them for the past year and I love them. You can sign up for a free trial and at the end of the trial you can pay 99$ for a year and they send you updates every week. Its a great deal.

i was looking at those guys last night. will probably sign up for a trial tonight.

signed up for a trial of freecreditscore.com last night. got my score and cancelled. it was a hassle to cancel. you have to call them and they give you a 5 minute sales pitch before they will cancel it for you. you can't cancel on their site.

thanks for the help

How does checking your score through one of these sites effect your score? Doesn't it bring it down a few points or am I just making shite up in my head again?
