Credit Card fraud question

So I have an LLC that I started last year and received a credit card from the bank. I have never used the card and it has sat in my desk in my home office never touched. Today I went and made a small deposit and a few hours later I was checking online to see if it cleared, and I noticed a $1000 charge to "Cigars". Of course, I called and had the card cancelled but I have to wait for the charge to clear before I can dispute.
My question is...how do they make it so easy to charge something? I have no bank statements to throw in the trash, and I would assume if they had access to my PC they would have used another account with more money.
They recommended I use a "LockIt" function that locks and unlocks the card to be used - has anyone used this? A brief search online seemed to indicate that it doesn't completely stop fraud charges.

I don't know how you can stop it. Just monitor it or set up an alert where you get a notification for every transaction.
Ours got stolen again a few months ago. It was around 1k but fairly easy to get cleared up.

I haven't used my personal Debit Card in years. I have a rewards card and just pay it off in full at the end of the month. But now, I don't even want the debit card. If they can just bypass all safeguards and charge to it, what is the point all these safeguards. Luckily, they have never accessed that account, but I guess I am not going to give them that chance.

This is what I do for my personal & business cards.
My wife and staff figured out ways around it by getting their own respective cards and I don’t get those alerts…yet
