I know that some might look at collectibles as not "Money/Investment" but I know alot of people collect all sorts of items.

I am not a seller, my kids will get to enjoy selling all of my items.

I am curious to see or hear what everyone else collects.

Autographed LP & CD covers
Autographed photos
Autographed baseballs & football helmets
Music lithographs & posters
Music memorabilia
Sports trading cards
Coins
Signed fist day covers

I've been collecting since the 90's, more as a hobby than an investment. Although I am sure that if I get to sell all my collection I could easily get $15K.

Art work. It’s about the only collectible that appreciates in value at a rate at least comparable to other mediums.

ETA: There is also no real correlation to other investments like the stock market, real estate or crypto. I got smoked in the market last year, but art was up pretty decent amount (just such a small amount of overall investment it did not come close to offsetting).

I agree with this, I have several paintings and they have increased in value way more then my other items.

I'm interested in this. How do you find out the value?

Helmets are my favorite thing. I have over 120 helmets and I would say atleast 70 of them are autographed.

I am running out of room in my man cave and in the process of adding another shelf for helmets. I have started putting old posters, flags and pictures on the ceiling.

Man thats actually kinda tough. The main painting I have that has increased alot is my LSU Blue Dog. Recently one sold for alittle over 5K.

I have several paintings that are original work by Chris Brown. Chris is the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame artist and does AWESOME work. I have also gotten a couple of things from Baton Rouge painter Chuck Braud who also does amazing items.

On those, I have no earthly idea how much they are worth. LOL
