Down big today. Over 17% down
I have some insight on this one. They have solid contracts in place
50 day average is positive
Any thoughts on it?

I don’t really know much about their involvement in rare earth minerals but I saw the story.
They’re in a space that’s getting a lot of government work and they’re top dog in a lot of the construction jobs.
I saw it get slammed today and it hit my radar as being priced about right in a market that’s hard to find any value

Nothing attracts investment quite like a company run with union labor. Cliffs hasn’t turned a profit in years, but maybe rare earths will be different.

I think CLF will slowly edge higher at the beginning of 2026 and then explode when Powell's position at the Fed comes to an end in the Spring. Then I think CLF will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of restructured and refinanced debt with the steel import tariffs benefiting them as well. Perfect storm to double to the high 20's by then imo.

Lots of public companies are unionized. I don’t see it as a hinderance for Cleveland Cliffs in particular.
And it’s turned profit several times in past 5 years

Laurenco is a Temu Aaron Aron. He’ll turn rare earths into the steel industry’s Hey Boomer meme.
