Yeah that's how I feel. About to eat some popkern and drink a beer, then get up and go through Equity again in the morning, quick run through deriv/alt asst/PM again, then do a bunch of practice tests.

Making a bigger deal out of then I should. Have had plenty of time to study for L1, and feel comfortable. Ready to get this monkey off my back though, I think drinking a beer or two is the best pre-test day strategy.

Have been getting mid 70s consistently with my lowest being 68 and highest being 80. Finished will all the Schweser tests. Tomorrow i'm going to take a sick day, go through and see which types of questions i missed the most of, try and learn those types of problems, then find more practice test info and do more problems.

I got an email from the CFA society today about a "CFA postgame happy hour" at the flying saucer, but i don't think i can wait long enough to drive over there to start consuming beverages.

Yeah I got one from "tiffany" (purposely uncapitalized) for a Houston one. Honestly if I was taking it in Houston I'd go, but being in nola they aren't quite as active with their CFA society. Nonetheless, that shite is built into the fabric of society down here so I've got it taken care of, wedding at 6. I usually try to act at least somewhat respectable at weddings in terms of blatantly abusing open bars, not happening this time. Give me your finest liquor, on the rocks or neat, and fill the entire fricking cup up sir. I will be back for more in twenty minutes and you will be a few dollars richer for no reason as you're already getting paid.

God gave you two hands to have two cups. One for you and one for your "date"

You are correct. This a fratstar wedding, so might as well just make it like a really fancy exchange. Double fisting it is.

I'm confused as to why there are such a low percentage of people passing level I. It's going to be tough, but still...39%!?

I'm officially in total burn out mode. This is the worst vacation ever. I need to review Derivatives, a few small parts of FI, and PM again. I feel very comfortable about Ethics, FSA, and Equity. I feel "good enough" about everything else and will feel fine once I run through that stuff one more time. Secret Sauce is useless garbage. A word of advice to all, just remember, you get six fricking hours to take this thing. Stay calm, read slow, you know they like to trip you up on stupid shite that is easy to frick up just because you're hyped up and reading too fast (eg they say expected dividend/earnings so the g is already in the number, you don't need to multiply by 1+g, other times they reverse it, give you retention ratio one place and payout ratio in the next one, etc, you know the drill). Again, you've got plenty of time, if you don't know something, don't freak out and rush through it or skip it, try and figure it out. You will almost certainly not know the answer to everything, but remember, you don't need to; you need to know the answer to greater than 70% of a few can't miss sections and a cumulative greater than 70% on a few others. If you bomb a few derivatives and random econ questions you're still okay. Again, you've got six motherfricking hours. Go get em boys, and, as I believe I've said for the last two of these, catch you on the flip side.

Just took the 1 free sample that comes with CFA registration.

It was notably harder, in my opinion, than the Schweser practice exams. But this was largely due to the fact it covered a larger swath of material and thus required more time (and less time to think about each question).

That said, I feel pretty good. Scored a 75% on Part 1 and 71% on Part 2 for an average total of 73%. If I can just reproduce that tomorrow, I think I'll be fine.

Really notably harder? I had been >75% on Schweser practices so I kind of just read over some formulas and basic concepts today for <2 hours total. Wanted to rest the mind and relax. Will feel like an idiot if I fail and didn't spend today working hard

Yeah, but I used Schweser practice exams as the bulk of my study prep, so to see anything even just a bit different was a curve ball.

If you were doing 75% plus on the Schweser practice exams, you'll be fine.

Fred's could be educational. At minimum, you'll get a great sample of the total STD-infected population.
