I and I’m sure a few others (Paul Allen) have probably watched this stock for at least five years.

It closed up just 4% today after a huge FDA approval (this happens). God bless the longs. I know your pain (AUPH).

But if this hits $13 again I’d feel stupid not to jump in. Buy and forget about it type of stock.

I’ve loosely followed this one. I can’t remember why the huge sell off happened from $30, but I think, in time, this will be an extremely profitable company.

Anyone care to fill in the gaps? Some of you must own it…

I was optimistic about this one in February of 2017 when I first came across it

And did you ever buy? I made a few bucks on it once.

Big potential here if they can get it all going.

I did some research. Apparently they have a drug called oral Korsuva for puritis or itching that just had a PDUFA data for review by FDA. It looks good but also is an opioid agonist so may end up as a schedule drug for abuse potential. They have several trials going this year for Korsuva that results should be known in Q2 2022. If successful the stock will likely soar 200% Stock had a big drop in 4/2021 when a different drug had poor results in trial. CARA has no other drugs approved so this would be it’s one product. Also has a commercial agreement for the drug with Vifor/Fresenius which is a good sign. Burning $30 mil a quarter.

Yeah, it’s kind of amazing how little they have to show after five years of loosely following the stock price.

If much of their pipeline turns out to be successful I could see it being near $100 or more. But that’s far from certain.

And they are still far from producing revenue. Buying opportunities will continue until they can get closer to profitability. Of course, right now is the greatest risk/reward.

I know you’re in AKBA now. What about AUPH? One drug pipeline that’s three Qs into producing revenue. Much like BCRX in that regard. Both will go higher.

There are opioid drugs out there that aren’t addictive at all. Belbuca is one. They design it so it only hits certain receptors, so you don’t get the feelings of euphoria and also the crashes. I’ve been taking it for years now because of a rare tumor in my spine, bulging discs, and arachnoditis. I actually forget to take it sometimes. You never forget to take things like Percocet, OxyContin, or Delaudid.

I knew there was better options out there, but the money was too good for these companies

Not in AUPH. I just sold Viking when I had a reasonable profit. Still in CALA, AKBA, and LPCN.

Another one that’s been on my radar for years. Do they have a future?

I also like PIRS right now.

Hey Bubba. Any thoughts on VTRS? Dropped a little and has a reasonable dividend but I know you follow this more than me.

Hey Bubbs. I don't know VTRS, but I'll take a look.

CARA and a lot of pharma getting pounded. XBI approaching triple bottom around $120.

Could be a good entry for a fairly low risk investment with 10-15% short term upside. It's so cyclical.

This one is off my radar. Too big and too developed.

I'm looking (and salivating) at:
BCRX
CARA
ALBO
MIRM
ATOS
AKBA

(All of which are sub billion market cap)

I keep buying into CALA. Hopefully it recovers in the next year.

I’m assuming you meant CARA.
Yeah, I don’t think you can go wrong loading below $15. There should always be a spike to exit if desired.

Gonna be a tough decision Friday when Roth investment goes through.

SLI, RDW, or CARA.

CARA is easily the most oversold. RSI gotta be in the 30s. Wow.

CARA is currently trading around $2.80 a share. With a 52 week high of almost $13.00 a share.
