So this is the part I never understood. Is their a code tied to the wallet you posted that prevents access or can coins be freely transferred to and from that wallet by just knowing the wallet code you posted?

Good point....

I guess I should also upgrade from rabbit ear TV antennas, and buy a few push button telephones, as the rotary dial ones I have have seen better days.

Yesterday, my neighbor showed me his automatic garage door opener.....

Wow, a great new thing! I'm getting two of them installed next week...

Oh, one more thing...

Go frick yourself, you arrogant arse!

What he posted was the "public key"

Anyone can SEND bitcoins to that public key

There is a corresponding "private key" that allows only the person that knows the private key to send from that public key.

Get it?

No...

It's AZ, as in lsu_tiger_AZ

I'm not sure how I got those coins either.

BTW, I downloaded that wallet on my cell phone, how does encryption work on a smartphone?

Yeah, it's as simple as translating Chinese algebra into Swahili trigonometry.

Swahili trigonometry

Speaking of Swahili.....did you know Swahili was a verbal only language until the British arrived in Africa? The native Africans did not have an alphabet so they could not develop a written language.

When the Brits showed up they decided to apply the English (Latin) alphabet to the phonic sounds of the Swahili words, which means all Swahili words are spelled EXACTLY like they sound.

I learned that useless fact when I worked in Nairobi, Kenya.

That and "hakuna matata" really does mean "no worries."
