Considering a job offer from capital one. Have looked at glass door reviews and it seems pretty shitty, especially for mid career workers.
Just curious if anyone works or knows someone who works for capital one who could give me some insight.

I don't work there myself, but had a close buddy who worked at Capital One for almost six years as an underwriter (a VP of Energy Banking title was the official title I think). He left a little over a year ago for a less demanding, higher paying job that supposedly had better benefits and long term outlooks at a smaller bank.
He's iterated a number of times he regrets the move and really enjoyed his time at Capital One. The work was hard and the hours were long, but the projects were fulfilling and he felt like they were really building him in the profession. He also was a pretty big fan of the corporate culture, something that seems to be lacking at his new gig. It sounds like pay was below industry standard, but the experience you can get there is pretty invaluable.

It really depends on what part of the company you are talking about. Commercial bank, card, etc. And can even depend on what part of the commercial bank. I worked there for 7 years, and there is good and bad.
