The problem with these AI services (SOUN, SERV, etc) is that there will be no moat around their product. I feel like AI SaaS and other applications are going to be easily duplicated with no proprietary functions.

I don’t think it’s a problem with a moat since R&D funding guarantees the barrier to entry. Selling the idea of future profitability to investors is souring.
The use case for a delivery robot is that it’s cheaper than a human. Yet, companies are gorilla marketing for market share and building $500k service robots, which will be copied by Chinese companies and sold for $5k in a couple years. Other than the government, who is going to keep investing in the ongoing development of cutting edge iterations when every business is happy to wait for the older model for a fraction of the cost?
