What the hell? That's crazy to me and I'm curious how much it will hurt Amazon when they require people to pay sales tax from their site in a few years nationwide.

They've started collecting tax in CA ..one of their biggest markets. I'm sure that along with lower consumer spending in general had something to do with it.

A few more states will be collecting in the next 1 to 3 years, too. Just a matter of time until they all do.

I read an interested article a while ago that they've stopped fighting the sales tax issue and they are currently trying to get local warehouses set up in order to start same-day delivery.

With the sales tax issue not going in their favor, their plan is to have a physical location in many states and go towards a speedy delivery type service

Ya, 4Q profit of $8.2 billion on revenue of $36 billion.

26.9M iPhones, 14M iPads , 5.3M iPods, and 4.9M Macs in Q4

They now have $124.25 billion in cash and marketable securities.

Seems as though the syncing of apple software helps the sales of Macs and Laptops. Is the Laptops included in the Mac #s 4.9 million?
