Parking pass “lot” 314 questions

I was given one from a friend for this weekend. I have never parked in 314. Looking at the parking maps it seems it’s first come, first serve street side parking?

I plan on getting out to LSU around 2ish. Will this be too late to get a spot in 314? I’m assuming they oversell these.

Also, 314 is in many places along highland. Can I try in any of the 314 areas?
