despite just about everybody picking against us, we play our best game of the season and we become the new darlings of the college football world. i'm expecting a 2003 sec championship game type of performance

Gut really does tell me that we have a legit shot to win this game and if firing on all cylinders will win by a couple TD's. Geaux Tigahs!!!

Gut says LSU wins.

BUT.....(and I HATE to bring this up).....IF the refs frick us out of this game, I will be the FIRST to take up a collection for Les Miles to pay his fine, and demand that he yell and scream and blast them in the press afterwords. Piss on Slive and his fines/suspensions....that cocksucker better make sure that for this game, the refs call an HONEST game. For some reason (go figure), I'm not worried about the gumps....I am worried about the filthy fricking refs.

LOL. Glad you did, Geaux, because I was about to bring it up.

I mean, this thread is titled "Your honest gut feeling about this game....".

All I want is a game that is decided on the field by the two teams playing, not the SEC Team (Slive, his BCS accountants, and his refs that he is more than happy to cover for). Slives recent actions remind me so much of what goes on in the NBA, and look at what a joke that league is.

IF the game is decided by the players, I think we see one of the best games of the season. Whoever wins will win it by less than three.

But, IF the refs step in and start taking over, like I suspect, I hope Bama blows us out. I don't want to lose a close one because of bad calls, a la Auburn 2006.

so you think the "the next game we play is the biggest" philosophy is better?

Absolutely. This is for every single sport.
in theory its good. but did anyone on the football team actually believe the jewlane game last week was bigger than the florida game a month ago? of course not. saying tulane was more important a million times doesnt make it so. face the facts: some games are bigger than others. being honest about it with the media is a different style than lord saban. its just different- not better, not worse

Agreed.....because of the refs, that game was like taking a pair of pliers, pulling out one of your molars with one hand, while at the same time running your fingernails down a chalk board!!

this is pretty much the worst gameplan ever for this game

same way it's been the last couple of years. whoever takes advantage of turnovers, wins. i got bama 20-13.

but wouldn't surprise me if it's LSU. away team owns the series for like the last 30 years

If we play well and don't turn the ball over, we win. 17 points should be enough.

I could see JJ with double digit sacks and the brook trout look just like against the Gaytors. Our defense will be stout, but expect Ingram to break a long one late against a tired D victimized by our offense leaving them on the field too long due to our three and outs.

I have the seasoning mix out for some crow if I am wrong.

LSU will need an awesome defense to win. Bama will pressure JJ, and JJ and pressure do not mix well.

I really, really, really, hate to say it, but my gut feeling is that our very young QB will not have a clue against Saban's defensive schemes. I don't expect it to even be close. Bama beats us bad.
That being said, I hope that I am soooooooo wrong and we win!!!!

I don't think it will be a blow-out. Both teams are too talented to blow the either one out. I think Alabama (as of now) has the better all around team. I think personally, LSU has more weapons than Alabama but it doesn't seem like LSU knows how to use them.

I'm still pulling for the tigers in the victory

This would have been close if we had stayed healthy, played a little better D and gotten the interception call.

Otherwise , Bama has a little better team, talent and a better coaching staff.

We really needed our 7 OL that left us the past 2 years.
