I agree with op. It wasn't my favorite hire by all means but the strategy of takin less money to hire the best staff $ can buy is growing on me. Here's to hoping we have our Cajun dabo Sweeney!!

Herman never wanted to coach LSU. He wanted to use us as leverage to force a move by Texas. It was his dream job. He would have been at best a temporary hired-gun, bolting to Texas at the first opportunity. The hell with him.
