jl looked pretty good as a starter against la tech last year. miles is saying that with his defense he believed we could win without the risk he believes comes with jl.

I believe jl could move the team more than jj but I'm on miles' side so far. moving the team and scoring a extra few points isn't aways the answer. JUST ASK MALLET WHAT UNTIMELY TURNOVERS CAN LEADTO.

i know its more fun to paraphrase one part and spin it so Miles looks dumb, but he was complimenting Lee.

So the OP was the LIAR and those who piled on, if they read the link, are the hypocrites!

I'll assume everyone else just thought the LYING OP had some integrity and will now recant their defamatory remarks about Coach Miles, or does it really matter?

Are we just going to hate him for every concocted conspiracy that pops up?

I don't know this to be a fact but I heard that he secretly sabotaged Bo Reigns' plane knowing it would cause LSU to suck for 20 years then they would hire some savior who would leave for greener grass and he could inherit the most dominate, organized, confident, disciplined and talented team ever to rove the planet.

Pretty good plan for an evil bastard that had such a nice man killed just to make future millions at our expense.... Your right, I hat that guy!

I basically agree with all that except the Tech game thought. He didn't really look all that good.

“Frankly, it’s getting closer and closer, and we like him,” Miles said. “It’s never going to be necessarily the fact that the other guy is just doing poorly. It’s with the compliment of the efforts that Jarrett Lee has. He’s worked hard at it. He has continued to compete and continues to improve, so my job is looking for opportunities to get him on the field.”

Hopefully this means that we are moving closer to a platoon system. It's funny, I hated it in 08 but we haven't had consistant QB play since Hatch was here (and healthy). JJ in the Hatch role wold work.

J. Lee vs. La. Tech 2009 7-22 105 yards 1 TD 0 int.

J. Jefferson vs. WVU 10-22 75 yards 0 TD 2 int

Lee didn't have 3 games to "warm up" and get reps with the 1st team

I was at the game & remember the cheering when JJ came in. Weird, it'a almost the exact opposite situation that is occurring now. But as to Miles, it is best to not put any faith in to what he says...it will only leave you saying
