They pay these kids under the guise of NIL, but they actually get next to nothing on their return on the “investment.” Boosters care about winning. They aren’t worried about what kid gets how much playing time.

No, but the advertisers do they lobby for their million dollar (or whatever) investment to stay on the field garnering eyeballs, as opposed to on the bench.
I don’t think it’s a 100% sure thing, if he plays bad enough he will get benched. What I’m saying is if you take this situation and put it back 10 years ago, Nuss gets more time before he gets benched today than 2015.
