I'm just telling you what Ole Miss fans see, and they're much more familiar with their history than either of us.

They hold Houston Nutt and Ed Orgeron in higher regard than Hugh Freeze. Two complete buffoons and losers get more respect than the Sugar Bowl coach.

Are they correct? Maybe. Historically, Ole Miss isn't too far removed from LSU. Bowls, bowl wins, total wins, etc.

I suppose it's akin to what we think as LSU fans. We think we've been pretty good in football, but we're a complete joke to Alabama fans. Ole Miss fans think they compete with us, but we laugh at them.

They had a good year under Freeze, but they're paying for it. They slapped LSU in the face many times without him, and that's what's important to them.

Ole Miss fans are a different breed. Beat LSU and State and they're satisfied. Believe it or not, they detest Hugh Freeze. They love Billy Brewer. I never said it made sense.
