don't particularly love Missouri. It just that they are a good comparison relative to this LSU team. 1st year HC who has a team with comprised of very few returning players and large number of transfers, several of whom coming from the HC's former mid-major school. Yes, Missouri has had their share of blowout losses this season. But they also have several things this LSU team doesn't...wins. Blowout wins over Illinois, Kentucky, and Iowa St, as well as a win AT (then) top 10 Tennessee.

Missouri is playing over their head (big KenPom vs bracketology discrepancy) and will likely fall off a bit over the next few weeks, but they have a clear identity- play fast and play hard. Their coach empowers their players to take quick shots that are sometimes contested because he knows it it helps set the tone for their team. His players reward him for that freedom by playing hard for him. I have seen some VERY questionable effort from lsu players during this losing streak.

And guess what, Mizzou’s gym is rocking whenever they play at home because the product is FUN

That’s the main thing I want from an lsu team. Win a good amount of games, put a product on the court that can be exciting, get some butts in the stands and fired up about Tiger basketball. Then once that foundation is established, you start worrying about whether you’re losing in the 2nd round or making the final four.

Besides the train wreck that is our current season, that's one of the many concerns heading forward. Coach Mc instills very little confidence in terms of excitement and promoting the program. LSU basketball pretty much requires a coach that is charismatic and goes out of his way to engage the students and fans.

I know posters like to cross sports as a comparison, but I usually don't. However, there was noise of BK not being a culture fit for LSU football, but I think the real culture mismatch is Coach Mc and LSU basketball. Even the diehards are exasperated as his lack of emotion, personality, confidence, charisma and promotion of the program - all of which LSU basketball desperately needs from the head coach.

We've been through this recently with TJ and JJ. I have nothing against them personally, same with Coach Mc, but we need a pretty strong force at head coach IMO. That's why Dale/Wade were both successful, but also divided the fanbase in ways.

Will Wade will coach again at LSU.

I'd buy 10 season tickets.

That said, Woodward does not like my boy. He had no patience for all the shite WW asked for behind the scenes.

His house hasn't sold yet tho so it would be an easy transition back

The guy has no clue what he is doing and is a lethargic no energy slug.
He hit the powerball courtesy of LSU and does not give a f—k.
