I don't see why not. Great athletic program, and hell- you're about as south as Kentucky is, with about as many rednecks.
Sure- you're worthy of an invite. Just don't expect as easy a time as in the Big East, though. Playing one SEC foe per year is one thing- eight is a different animal!
