I guess you could say expectations of LES were lowered but the expectations of the PROGRAM were not, and he was accordingly fired.
I can agree with that.
That being said, fans should not expect to meet those prior expectations immediately.

do you think going 9-3 this year is the same as going 9-3 last year?
No. I think going 9-3 last year was pathetic against that soft schedule. I think going 9-3 this year would be much more similar to going 9-3 in 2015.

Let me ask you this, did you think Les Miles should have been fired? If so, at what point in his tenure
Yes. He should have been fired after the A&M game in 2015.

so you think losing to FL-UGA-BAMA would be similar to getting blown out against Ole miss and arkansas?
That is an interesting take. AT least you own it.

It's more similar to that than it is to losing to Troy and getting blown out by State.
And who says our other two losses comes from UGA and Bama? You can just about pencil in our loss to bama, but I really do think we have a good chance at UGA this week. Orgeron finds a way to get his team up after adversity, and I think this could be an emotional win for LSU. I'm more worried about dropping one we shouldn't to State or A&M.

We will finish the year 8 and 4 and I am OK with that. Book it.

He raised expectation
NEVER before did a LSU head coach have ten win or more expectations placed on him. Les raised the expectations for LSU football coaches. In fact, LSU won more overall games between 2005-2015 than any other SEC program.
When O was hired no one at LSU said anything about a rebuild. One of the reasons for going with O was so a continuation of what was right would be able to take
place along with an improvement of what was wrong. Meaning the offense. Only after O took over and we had a shitty start to 2017 did anyone bring up rebuild.
Les couldn't win the west anymore. He needed to go, but no one thought we would bring in a defensive line guy with no fricking clue how to produce a better offense as demonstrated by our worse yards per game average and worse scoring now that what we had in 2015.
All this rebuild BS is a cover up LSU losing games we never should have loss. We didn't lose Saturday because of a rebuild issue. We didn't lose to troy because of a rebuild issue. We didn't lose to Florida in 2016 because of a rebuild issue. And we didn't lose the bowl game due to a rebuild issue.
That's only an excuse some use to cover up the real problem.

Hahahahahahaha.
No shot in hell.
No shot in hell.

One of the dumbest questions i've ever read

Everything is an excuse to the people that hate Ed orgeron.
Thankfully there are still a few fans that deal in reality.

Uhh that would be over achieving so hell yeah

It's because you cant deal with the reality of my post that cause you to resort to your weakass hate BS.

O, I am sure, is doing the very best that he can. Why should I hate a man doing his best? I do hate that LSU is struggling, once again, on offense just as it did in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Lots of LSU fans hate that, but its ok if you don't.

Right, and when you examine our starters from last year compared to this year, you realize there has been a ton of turnover. On top of that, new OC and new QB who only enrolled in June.
But let me guess, that is just an excuse?

Whose fault is it that we have a new OC and the only QB left from last years roster in Brennan?

Obviously. This is the path 0 decided to take us down.

You can blame it on whoever you want. It doesn't change the fact that is the position we are currently in. Being upset about the changes is one thing. That doesn't speak to currently offensive woes. I didnt even touch on the OL injuries which is the biggest wrench in all of this.

We are the only team in the NCAA that has injury issues. Too bad our head coach isn't a supposed elite recruiter that has recruited quality depth on the lines.
ETA: BTW that whole post was basically nothing but excuses. Did you ever give Les that kind of leeway?

blanket statements with no context are what Ive come to expect from you. No deep or forward thoughts ever from you.
can you please tell us other schools that have played 11 guys along the offensive line, with 6 different starting lineups in 6 games? Should be easy to do, as every team in the NCAA has injury issues.

You have never dealt in reality. Of course they are excuses.

You made an excuse, I gave you an equally lazy response.

10 regular season wins.
That is the expectation.
This year. Every year. This coach. Every coach.
I fricking refuse to move those goal posts. We should be an elite program. We have every advantage to be one on a consistent basis. I'm tired of excuses.

So you are telling me that playing 11 different OL with 6 different lineups is not a big deal?

I see you're content to just not answer the questions, so I'll reciprocate.
