Plus, had Oklahoma State taken care of Iowa State, we smash the Big 12 Champ in the National Championship Game.

That team would have been in the discussion for the greatest of all time…and now…almost forgotten by anyone outside of our fanbase.

2011, that team was unbelievable.

Curious why everyone says 2019 doesn’t happen if we win that?

2023 was a flawed team with a freak QB. It was never championship caliber. Even with a good defense.

2011 is the only answer.

2012, man that FLA game was a bummer as well. Kevin Minter balled out that day.

The rematch in the championship was the beginning of the end for Miles. He refused to adapt offensively even after that arse whooping Bama handed to him.

If he wins that game, he is granted a significantly longer leash with the administration and fan base and probably doubles down even more on that style of football.

In all likelihood, he is given leeway to coach as long as he wants here and Burrow goes elsewhere as a result. Why would he come here given everything he would have known about Miles and his QBs up to that point?

Ja'Marr Chase also said that Miles wanted him to play corner and not receiver, so he wouldn't have come here if Miles was still coaching.

Completely different team.

If Les wins in 2011 he would have been extended and would not have attempted fixing an outdated offense. Orgeron recruited Burrow which led to 2019 greatest college team ever
