I'd sit him and not let him throw all week.

Let him rest. Ole Miss had backups practicing all week as QB Simmons had a foot injury. They let him practice some and said it was a gametime decision. They got him out there for one play, and then took him out. The backup played the whole game vs Arkansas (a D2 transfer senior QB) he went 21-29 353 1 TD and 15 car 62 yards 2 TDs in a 41-35 win.
This is the perfect game to get the backups some reps if needed later. Do not waste this opportunity. We wasted one opportunity with La Tech. We only have one other opportunity to get the backup QB live game reps this year other than this game.
Nuss can take the next two weeks to heal. Don't be stupid with him.

If he is "that" hurt then no he shouldn't play. However, he sure seems to be okay and if he can play he should play because the offense has looked worse the last two weeks then they did the first week. They need a get right game. Now is not the time to rest him. The bye is coming up after Ole Miss and we really need to get some momentum offensively heading into Oxford next week.

I remember when he scrambled in the Florida game that got called back for holding he got up wincing and holding his mid section even tho noone hit him, I thought that was strange but this explains it.

I would sit him but players want to play. Will need to be a stern decision by Kelly. Now if the docs say sitting him is not going to make a difference in his healing by OM game then play him a couple of series and then sit him.
LSU dogwalks SELU either way.

NOBODY HERE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HIS INJURY IS NOR HOW BAD IT IS!!!
^^ and before you hit me with the ‘this is a discussion forum’ cliche BS, I’m saying that to say this - you don’t have enough information to properly answer this hypothetical question
Let the fricking professionals on the staff handle this.
FFS y'all assholes have a couple of undefeated seasons on Xbox and then swear y’all have all the answers for in real life situations that you don’t have the qualifications for
