That injury was going to happen. Could have happened stepping off a curb to cross Highland Road.

Turf isn’t just in domed environments.
In fact, next year’s kickoff game is outdoor in Camping World Stadium with a turf field.
2024’s kickoff stadium is indoors at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas) with a grass field.

Your point is invalid.

Less likely on grass, it just gives more. This is also supported by many studies and NCAA stats, with fewer ACL injuries on grass than turf.
