ANYONE can apply to be a student worker for the athletic department. Why can't an athlete live with one?

Yes, as long as the housing allowance is legit.

Les stated that no infractions were made, trust in Les this guy knows how edgy LSU fans and supporters are so If anything does come of it Expect Les to 1. Report any wrong doings immediatly to the NCAA and 2. If anything is serious see Ryan P... The likes of the media (Espn) are going to do everything they can to bury LSU since we are put on probation because they think we are vunerable and for a team such as LSU that has never had any serious sanctions they are going to want to see it. Don't feed into it anymore than is already there! The more you speculate and talk the more the media will try to hype this up let it rest and play out and hope for the best because that's all we can do as fans anyway... LSU is god's favorite team remember that, he won't let us go down without a fight!!!

This has nothing to do with who he's living with. He can live with whomever he wants. He just can't get a housing stipend if he's living rent free.

Ah. So was the rent not split? He didn't pay any of the rent?

Even if that is the case all he has to do is to pay it back

Considering how he has been used, probably. The man averages over 6 yards per carry though when he runs the ball. It's a serious talent LSU has been misusing and would miss, if he were to be used properly.

No lost eligibility? No school sanctions?
If this is really the case, why don't more people try to do it? If the only repercussion is to pay it back if you get caught.

Alshon Jeffery, and more than 6 yards. Oh, and he's second.
She averaged that from the rb position.....per carries! nice try though, of course a reciever would aveerage that!
Hence the commnet, "whent they knew he was gettin it"
Qgain, football iq needed here

If he was living with her during the season last year and not paying rent, then bring the hammer down.
If he moved in with her in the spring, like being reported and was not paying rent, then bring the hammer down on him for a few games and I can see the NCAA tacking on a post season ban and another year of probation since this is exactly the same class of violation as was in the Hicks case.
If he continue to pay his rent to the place he was living and he had just moved in with her, then no harm no foul.

But RS is a receiver so you're right on us needing some FB iq...beginning with yours.

Wrong. A coach knowingly supplied Hicks with illegal housing.
Shepard just recently moved in with his girlfriend and the compliance dept. found out.
You're being a tad dramatic.
