Without the concept of team

Then the whole concept of CFB and specifically LSU football which makes it so addicting crumbles. Without this the fans are no longer fanatical. The fans are no longer part of a “team”. I get these kids are all told they need to take care of themselves first but the entire thing is about to crumble. The goose laying the golden eggs is the fans. Many will simply choose to opt out.

The young kids are playing well. Its time to cut the entitled remainder of the 2019 team and build around our young studs like Boutte, Ojulari, Ricks, etc.

I was extremely impressed with the defensive effort yesterday. We need the guys who want to play for LSU.

There is a lot to this but on the flip side of that, a lot of this board needs to stop speaking of the team as a “product”

The product is based on emotion and pride at its heart not on perfect football. If we are saying the individual is actually more important than the team he is committed to then the whole thing falls apart.
