I’m rooting for the Tigers and Hampton. Hopefully he works his way into playing time

Because there are guys on the team that are better than him right now. This really is not rocket science. Yes Hampton is really talented but so is Crews and Drost and Dugas the three starting outfielders over him.
Raw talent only gets you so far at this level. Taking 6 months out of the year mainly focusing on football while doing some baseball is going to put you behind guys with the similar athletic ability that are 100 percent focused on baseball year round.

Didn’t he have a multi-HR game that day? Or was he starting SS for that one?

Bianco is better on defense than anyone in here will give him credit for but yea I can’t defend him batting at all. He is pretty terrible at it. Hampton should have gotten an opportunity there.
