I thought Breaux and Willis were going to be really good for LSU.

Also want to point out that I don’t see any guys that couldn’t start for ULL on LSU’s roster but that’s none of my business.

Every post you have made has been about Hampton. Obviously you are very close to him. I’m a huge Hampton fan but he hasn’t earned his playing time yet. I would love to see him win a spot. Huge ceiling for him. He hasn’t done it yet. Sometimes the players and the parents need to look in the mirror instead of looking to blame coaches

Obviously I see where he isn't getting in the game. I follow him & I watch the games & in a few of the games, EVERY player was rotated in & out but him. So I question it. No relation I don't know him or his family. Just know he's a special talent that seems to be overlooked.

He’s made appearances in 5 games this year

Him only having 5 appearances does seem low compared to others.

Not playing in games for the fans to see him is not the same thing as being overlooked. I am sure the coaches are looking at him plenty they just like the guys that are playing right now more than him. Who shouldn’t be playing right now to give Hampton more playing time?

I'm over it. I just thought he was a player that could help us get to damn Omaha.

As a fan I like domination. Not participation trophies. Patriots didn't win this year because of participation. Tampa Bay got that win by dominating. I like that kind of sh*t. So excuse the hell out of me??

Look I'm not sure. But an opportunity to show whatever he can do is merited. He IS on the team isn't he? You just really don't want him out there do you? Lol I see PH & DH rotate at clearing of the bench time & the kid just isn't getting any reps. That's all I'm saying. But that's PM's team. Have at it PM .and you're entitled to like who you like as am I.

I absolutely do want him out there because his ceiling is high.

He appears to be getting reps based on his spot in the OF depth chart. Clearly the coaches have him behind other guys.

You don’t think he’s had the opportunity because you haven’t gotten to see him in games as much as you want to. The coaches see him in practice every day; they aren’t going to choose to not play a guy, just because. I think everyone would like to see Hampton get more time in games because of his ceiling both at the plate and in the field but the OF is stacked.

I hear ya. But again as a fan if there is a player that can help win. If I'm a coach I'm putting him on the field. I don't care if he was sitting on a toilet in China for the last 6 months I'm going to at least let him get some solid reps just in case I need what he has to offer in the future. I'm going to agree to disagree here. ??

Again, I love Hampton and his potential. At the same time he doesn’t deserve to be given anything. He needs to earn it. That starts at practice on the field, BP, hitting in the cages and working in the weight room. He obviously hasn’t done what has been asked. Like I said earlier, he needs to look in the mirror. If the coaches thought he was the best option then he would absolutely be on the field

It may not have anything to do with Hampton not doing enough. At the end of the day LSU is loaded with talent in the outfield. Dugas and Gio are both seasoned guys, Crews and Drost are both extremely talented freshman. He's just behind better baseball players at this point.

Yeah maybe he is lazy, he plays baseball & football and his work ethic is just horrible. A friend of mine saw him at working out with a trainer on the levy with a trainer stop to see if he was Jamar Chase.he was getting geared up for baseball. That peaked my interest even more. I'm done. 'Given to him"? Wow

How do you know he was with a trainer? How do you know he was working for baseball specifically.

I agree his chances have been low. I think he needs more somehow. It's not that easy. However, you do seem to be taking some things personal.

Again, who should he be replacing in the lineup?

It’s fairly clear there is a personal connection here so I’m going to bow out after this post. Hampton’s ceiling is high and should he reach that potential, he’s certainly someone that can help this team win games. That however can also be said for every guy we have playing in the OF. The coaches aren’t going to sit a better option for no reason, regardless what some poster on the rant wants to believe.
