Alex Box is a disappointment to you maybe? Not all agree. Actually it is rated very highly on a national basis.

Louisiana settled? You are just a sour, negative, individual. Blame the real problem which is CPM. It isn't facilities, fan base, financial support, or history of the program.

Dream on.

That lists State and FSU in the top 3.

It has nothing to do with the facilities themselves. The blurb on State only talks about size and atmosphere.

Facilities are NOT an LSU problem. Money is NOT an LSU problem. Fan Base is NOT an LSU problem. Program history of success is NOT an LSU problem. Coaches pay is NOT an LSU problem.

Then what is holding back CPM? What?

Well what do y'all want? Wins in Omaha or Championships? If Paul got to the semi finals and lost every year would that be okay?

In the last 20 years, the number of schools who can also claim the above has risen dramatically. Competition is much better across the board.

ETA: program history only means so much. Just ask Stanford, USC, and OK State. Miami isn't exactly tearing it up either.

Dude, do ever go anywhere to a damn game? State has a great facility. PERIOD.

Your opinion is just that. Yours and it makes no sense.

Whether you rate LSU number 1 as a stadium it is definitely the #1 game day experience I have ever seen and State would be my number 2.

As stadiums go LSU will be in the top 5 in every poll done by anyone with any sense and who has actually gone to these venues.

I have have posted two examples of LSU facility ratings and game day experience yet you want to say elsewhere is better yet professionals who write these articles and who have also been at these facilities also disagree with you. Suit yourself.

You have not posted any facilities ranking. You have posted experience rankings. Which I am not arguing. And I can back up my opinion with actual examples of things LSU has compared to others. And they're not far apart and LsU is even missing some things (e.i. All chair backs). You're getting really defensive for no reason. I'm not saying The Box is bad. Just that it's no longer a standout venue like it once was. Which is your point here. What does CPM have that others don't...

I am posting this STADIUM RANKING one more time because you obviously either don't read before you post or are incapable of comprehending.

That they base on stadium size and atmosphere mostly. At least according to each write up that I read.

CPM is underachieving and has no excuse. Case closed.
