Either:

1. O hires an amazing offensive coordinator and we are really good next year.

2. He promotes the clown TE coach and we have a new HC in 2019.

The problem with this scenario and having to a hire a new head coach in 2019 is how far the program would have slipped. Who knows how long it would take to get back to a championship caliber program.

Just curious derpth, what happens if the clown gets hired and we look good on offense like when he took over last year?

You seem slow, but keep in mind itsimportant to consider all options, not just the ones that fit your dumbass narrative.

we looked great on offense against the teams that don't play D (Missouri, Ole Miss, A&M)
We scored a combined 10 pts against the Bama and Florida, and looked like schit.

Ok, "derpth" I will humor you....

1. How did the offense do against Bama?
2. What good defenses did his offense do well against?
3. When was the last time he was a full time OC? (It was 97)
4. Why do you think no programs are wanting him?

That comment really wasn't necessary or warranted.

I bet he's a much better man and father then you and he certainly is a far better football coach.

Just curious why someone with no value to the program would call one of the great ambassadors of LSU football a clown.

He’s done everything asked of him and worked very hard at it.

Oh we've already slipped. I said back when he was hired that O was a mistake that might take a decade to recover from.

And the longer he is coaching, the longer the recovery will take. I agree that we can't fire him now, but unless a miracle happens, next year should be his last year in baton rouge.

I disagree here because I actually think Orgeron can succeed. Say what you want, but for the most part, Canada ran his offense here. They made it work short term, but if Orgeron and Canada don't work well together there is no sense in prolonging this. There are other options out there and you know Orgeron understands the importance of this hire.

Call me a sunshine pumper or whatever you must, but this isn't the end of the road.

while this would not be awful, this could have ramifications on the 2019 crootin class which is loaded with in state talent that jimbo herman mullen saban malzahn would be all too happy to take off LSUs hands.

Based on what? His record at Ole Miss? His record against good teams as an interim HC? His losses to Troy and Miss State?

Seriously, the only good thing he has done is not run off Aranda. Why would anyone have faith that he can succeed?

Again, we don't really know this. Sounds like O was just as meddlesome as Les was.

I hope so, but the simple fact that Ensminger is even being considered tells me that he doesn't. Or he does, but is even stupider than his reputation.

Maybe it was fool's gold, but his work as an interim head coach was impressive for the most part. You can say it was against lesser competition, but didn't Miles struggle against similar teams?

I cannot defend this, but the team has rebounded nicely.

Ensminger's not a clown. I'm not going to destroy the guy, he's a good coach/man by all accounts.

He's just not qualified to be OC in CFB today, and even he seems to know that. But I do think he'll do it to help out O because that's the type of guy he is.

Nobody should insult Ensminger. You might not like him as an OC option, and that’s fine. That’s a opinion that’s supportable (or not).

But Ensminger is a Tiger, a former player, and has always been a good ambassador for LSU. He’s done all that’s been asked of him for our University. Some respect for him would be appropriate.
