Will Wade NCAA's Last Execution

New Bill will kill how they get schools.
If this was already law, 3/4 of the stuff they have on Will would be moot. Also makes me think NCAA knew this was coming and was hell bent on getting Wade before it became Law!

Good point. Long overdue law. The young men on the roster today had nothing to do with what happened before.

We have pretty weak leadership. They gave us “allegations” and we could have responded to this. It would have been a long drawn out process and basically nothing would have happened

I am as upset about Wade as you are. But I am not upset with the LSU admin over this. The truth is we really do not know what went on behind closed doors. Woodward has a family tie to Emmert………so no telling what was said at the family bbq. The media turning the burners all the way up every year right before the NCAA tourney is the obvious thing that pissed me off. The blueblood schools are untouchable in this aspect and its obviously not a fair playing field. The timing of this is also bad……..we just now received allegations. It could be years before anything happens and we will have our roster in limbo until that is settled. Really could turn into a 4 or 5 yr problem.

Never stated it was law yet, just stating Will is the last sacrifice. I think it will pass rather swiftly. Congress wants to stick it to the NCAA.

If you aren't a "garbage" coach you can break NCAA rules? Possibly generating sanctions for your univerfsty?
