Mett is better suited for a pro-style NFL team than he is in college.

I think he will do well in the NFL as career backup and an occasional starter.

You put this question in future tense. How about past tense. Has LSU ever had a season-long, starting QB in the NFL. I'll spot you Bert Jones David Woodley and Y. A. Title and challenge anyone to fill up the other two fingers on one hand. Back ups don't count. We've produced more punters than QBs; much less any other position on the field, especially DLs or DBs.

If Flynn were starting instead of Wilson in Seattle, would the Seahawks be in the same position they're in now?

We can't really know. But I was sure disappointed for Flynn when Wilson beat him out.
