LSU isnt winning anything without a capable QB to manage the offense, otherwise the D will eventually lose confidence after watching their key stops be thrown away for a pick 6..

and in 2004, LSU could have very well went to atlanta if the auburn game went differently.
and i'm pretty sure we had a dual QB system that year....

Kinda like Bama last year huh? A good defense makes all the difference.
D was horrible all season last year once we entered SEC play, they did not lose confidence because of pick 6.
Defense had no clue what play was coming in and half the time on field they had 2 seperate plays called at same time.

Well I am not delusional like some fans... I understand that it is competitive and having a upperclassmen at the QB position gives teams an advantage.
I could see LSU having a season like UGA in 07. But it would be because defense improved into Top 20.

The main thing to take note of is that every team, no matter if they run a sual QB system or not, has a designated starting QB.
Some people here would actually have LSU be the first team in CFB history to not have a starting QB--just two guys playing QB whatever, whenever.
Talk about chaos.

Coming from several players on defense I know, they were getting multiple plays sent to them. They were frustrated with CO-Defense also...
You mentioned Lee's pick against Florida other day but failed to mention LSU was already losing 17-0 at the point in time. Was Lee the reason LSU was down 17 or was that the defense?

Florida 3rd drive, touchdown pass again how is Lee fault LSU down 17-0 as Florida scored on first 3 possessions.
It was on LSU following possession that the INT came before end of first quarter.
