As much as I hate Joe Alleva, I doubt he's writing $1.3mil checks to Cam so that Les can run his offense.
Yes the offense is sputtering, but we've seen flashes of what it can do. But the problem isn't just the play calling. The OLine is playing like a bunch of chumps and the DT position has really neutered Chavis' ability to let the defense attack like they normally would.

Maybe they agreed to take turns, and this is Miles year to run the O.
It could be that the Ds problem is he's making calls for Chavis too. Makes perfect sense.
